Liebe Freunde & Herzensmenschen, der Monsun hat in SRI LANKA zu den schwersten Überschwemmungen seit 14 Jahren geführt.(150 Tote & 1000de obdachlos) Die gewaltige Flut hat in den betroffenen Häusern sämtlichen Inhalt davon gespült. Eine Riesenwelle und nichts ist mehr da :- ( Der Fokus unserer Arbeit als Green Souls liegt auf Bildungsförderung, so werden wir die bedürftigen Schulkids der Südprovinz Matara unterstützen und hoffen, ihr supportet uns dabei.
We have visit the school of the little city and check the need:
500 x pencils cases, 500x. Lunch boxes, 500 x water bottles, 500 x drawing books etc
Ich habe gestern die Schule des Ortes besucht, un den genauen Bedarf zu ermitteln. Von 671 Schülern sind 500 bedürftig. Der Staat unterstützt mit neuen Schuluniformen und Schuhen. Doch die weggespülten Unterrichtsmittel sind Eigenleistung, die die finanziell zu schwach situierten Familien nicht aufbringen können. So fehlt es: 500 x an Stiften, Buntstiften, Federmappen, Übungsheften, Malheften, Wasserflaschen, Lunchboxes etc. was im Ergebnis einen Bedarf von 1100€ ergibt. 500€ Budget sind bereits im Topf, um das Projektziel zu erreichen fehlen demnach noch 600€.
Je Ausstattung pro Schulkind benötigen wir 2,40€. Mit einem Fünfer hilfst somit zwei Kindern zu lernen.
